Current News

13-05-2008 Hi all, just a quick update about the web server status. We're still on the old server, although we are currently in the process of moving. The majority of the move has been completed, but for now, the site is still running on the old server.

In other news, plans for two more Detox Media websites are in the pipeline. One will be to give customers more detailed information about the company as a whole, and the other will be dedicated to the charity work carried out by Detox Media. We'll keep you posted.

02-03-2008 Afternoon all, and we hope you're enjoying your weekend! Over the last couple of days we've had some troubles with our web server, and so we are currently in the process of transferring it to a new server.

You may find that over the coming week, some emails that you send to us will be returned to you, and that there will be periods of time when our website is unavailable. This should only last a week or so, and then everything should return to normal.

We'll keep you updated about the transfer, and we'll let you know when the changes are complete. If you find that our website is currently down, you can find more information over on our MySpace blog where we will be keeping you to date on the current progress.

Sorry for any inconvenience, and we should be back up to speed by the end of this coming week.

01-01-2008 Happy New Year everybody! Just thought we'd express our best wishes in the new year, and we hope you've set some good new year's resolutions!

There are going to be some big changes here at Detox Media as well. More on that later on as the year unfolds. For now, enjoy the festivities!

25-11-2007 Although it's been a few months since our last update, it's because we've been working hard on a number of projects. We've been working with Digital Rhapsody to get the final Mini Blahs website up and running, and whilst working with them have found ourselves teamed up with them again for a new venture: The Small Business Web Design company.

Small Business Web Design has been set up to offer a simple website design package that offers a great initial website design service, but also allows you, the small business owner, to leave the website management to us. Why would you do that? Well, it can save you a lot of time, and there's no need to try and find a web designer or company to update your website every time you need them to - it's all done by us. Simply send us the extra content and requirements and we'll do the rest!

16-09-2007 We have recently updated our Client Area so that all client invoice information can be read in the Adobe PDF format.

It occured to us that some people might not have Microsoft Word (which they would need installed to view their invoices) installed on their computer, and PDF documents can be viewed directly in your web browser, and so it was decided that from now on, invoice documents will be shown in the PDF format.

23-08-2007 Having had some more time to develop some Detox Media sites (and other projects) we have created a Detox Media MySpace page. We know that a lot of people use social networking sites like MySpace to keep in contact with their business associates as much as they do their friends and family, and so we decided that we, too, should have a MySpace profile.

So head on over and leave us some feedback on the page. You can even add us as a MySpace friend!

12-08-2007 Due to some unforseen circumstances, and changes in the general working situation, work is still continuing on our latest project. The original plan was to have the site up and running by the beginning of August, but because of some third party "aggrevations", shall we say, we have had to put the deadline back.

This means, of course, that progress has been rather sparse where the Detox Media website is concerned. If things keep going the way they are at the moment, though, there'll be plenty of time to develop it! For now, we plough on...

Oh, and just a quick mention; we're getting plans underway for two new Detox Media websites: the Detox Media Corporate Network, and Detox Media: Mobile - a special version of the site designed especially for mobile phones, PDA's and other handheld or mobile devices.

07-07-2007 The past few weeks have been hectic, as we're preparing to build and launch a new digital distribution website for people wanting to sell their digital artwork and media. All of this has delayed the launch of the Detox Media website somewhat, and we are unsure as to when the new Detox site will be launched.

We've also been building one or two extra features for our current clients. For anyone who uses the iGoogle Homepage, we're developing an iGoogle Gadget that will allow our clients to access some of their key Detox Media account information directly from their iGoogle homepage. This means our clients won't even have to log in to the Detox Media website to check their project and information, such as invoices.

10-05-2007 Over the next few weeks you may notice that the website will change or behave slightly differently as time goes on. This is because we have started to implement the new website, ready for the launch in the summer. The Client Area will remain up and running until last, when we may need to take it offline to test the new Client Area. We will keep all our clients up to date on the progress of the site.

02-04-2007 A small update has been made to the Client Area. Now all clients can view descriptions of their invoices alongside the other invoice information. All of the information is secure, and you can access that and other information within your Client Area.

29-03-2007 As you can see, new temporary home page has been put in place. This is to give you an idea of what the new website might look like, and also to make it easier for existing clients to login to their Client Area.

15-02-2007 Site-wide designs are now well underway, and we hope to have a prototype website up and running within the next two months. By the end of April 2007 Detox Media will have full site designs and a rough outline of a website, although this may change before the official launch of the site.

07-01-2007 The schedule for completing the Detox Media main website has been re-written, and so the site may not be fully completed until some time in June or July. The Client Area is still fully functional, so if you have any queries or questions about our client services, please email us at enquiries@detoxmedia.co.uk

01-12-2006 The Detox Media Client Area is now fully operational. As a client, you can login to your personalized Client Area and access your project as it is in development, as well as being able to use some of the advanced management features that it offers. Work will now begin on the main Detox Media website, which will be completed by the first half of 2007.

02-11-2006 The login system to the Client Area has undergone a large security upgrade, and will be fully functional within a day. We are currently finalizing all aspects of the Client Area and it will be completed by mid-december.

25-10-2006 We are currently beta testing some of the Client Area software on our servers and expect to complete the testing phase as of mid-november. All of our clients will have access to the new features, which are designed to improve communication and efficiency between Detox Media and its clients.

10-10-2006 The Detox Media website will be fully completed by January 2007. Information about all of our services will be available, as will a full-featured Client Area for exclusive use by our clients.
